Ancillary Care Management Forges Business Partnership With Medication Management Systems and Names New CEO

July 23, 2007 – MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Ancillary Care Management, Inc. (ACM), one of the nation’s leading healthcare benefits management companies, today announced an investment in and a new strategic relationship with Medication Management Systems, Inc., a leading player in medication therapy management. As the two companies join forces to broaden the scope of services provided to public and private payers, this new business arrangement will also bring Medication Management Systems’ current Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Dave McLean, on board as ACM’s new CEO.

ACM co-founder and current CEO Dave Willcutts will become Chairman of the Board and continue to be involved in driving strategic development and direction for the company. “During the past 12 years, since Tom McNulty and I founded ACM, we have achieved many milestones that have made ACM a true innovator and leader in the home care and specialty infusion sector. As Tom continues to provide leadership and vision as Chief Clinical Officer, I am looking forward to the fresh challenges that await me in my new role,” Willcutts said.

According to Willcutts, ACM’s new business partnership with Medication Management Systems will further enhance the company’s ability to deliver next generation technology to clients. In particular, Medication Management Systems’ signature product, Assurance Pharmaceutical Care System™, will provide an opportunity to add significant value to ACM’s e-PathwaysSM system for processing prior authorizations and augment the company’s overall suite of product offerings.

“ACM’s Board is excited about the investment the company is making in Medication Management Systems,” commented current Board Chairman, David Jensen. “The synergies this new partnership will offer are outstanding, as is the experience and leadership that Dr. McLean will bring to ACM as CEO.”

Incoming CEO Dave McLean brings over 30 years of experience in health care and managed care industries including his most recent position as Founder, Chairman and CEO of Medication Management Systems. Formerly CEO of RxHub, his background also includes 10 years with UnitedHealth Group where he was CEO of United Resource Networks and responsible for the growth and development of services in the field of organ transplantation to over 40 million covered individuals. As ACM’s new CEO, Dave McLean will be based in the company’s Eden Prairie, Minnesota office and report to the company’s Board of Directors.

In a message to ACM’s Board and investors, outgoing Board Chairman Jensen praised Dave Willcutts as “a visionary to whom we are indebted for his passion and integrity. In founding and leading ACM, Dave has been a pioneer in utilizing technology to improve home care and helping people. We are gratified that he will be serving as Chairman of the Board and continuing to guide the company’s direction.”
