Code 42 Software Appoints Brian Bell as President and Chief Operating Officer

Former Dell executive to lead enterprise software company’s global expansion

MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–August 13, 2012 — Code 42 Software Inc., developers of award-winning onsite, offsite and online backup solutions for consumers, businesses and the enterprise, today announced the appointment of Brian Bell as president and chief operating officer. Bell brings years of experience within the storage industry and will be responsible for expanding sales globally as well as scaling operations and services.

Prior to joining Code 42 Software, Mr. Bell served as executive director, Americas sales, enterprise storage at Dell. Before that, he was vice president of global sales at Compellent Technologies, which was acquired by Dell for $960 million. Mr. Bell also served an executive at StorageNetworks and was a captain/F-16 pilot in the United States Air Force.
